Betsy Hoying

Hi, I’m Betsy, the owner of Children’s Art Classes in Rancho Carmel – the first studio in San Diego County. 

Creativity has always been central to my life, both personally and throughout my 20+ year career building brands, developing products and mentoring young professionals. In recent years, I’ve felt a pull to create something more personal and rooted in my local community. 

Living in San Diego, I’m constantly inspired by the beauty, creativity and energy all around us. I opened this studio to create a welcoming space where kids can explore their creativity, build real artistic skills, and grow in confidence.  

I look forward to meeting you and your child in person. 

Sandy White

Sandy White is a dedicated teaching artist with more than 10 years of experience inspiring young creatives throughout San Diego County. She has taught art to elementary-aged students in both school and enrichment settings, helping children build confidence, creativity, and self-expression through hands-on artistic exploration. 

Sandy currently works with Mosaic Theatricals and has previously taught with Monart School of Art, where she specialized in guided drawing, mixed media, and age-appropriate art instruction. Her warm, encouraging teaching style creates a positive and engaging environment where every child can thrive creatively.
